On a
scorching hot July afternoon in Windsor, 25 guests of
Carphone Warehouse took part in one of our fantastic Treasure Hunts. Teams were tested on their
planning, delegation, communication and
time & team management skills, as they made their way around a frantic trail planned within the
beautiful town of Windsor. Only their collective
brain power and initiative would see them successfully to the end!
The teams set off with a
list of clues, training notes and a
digital camera, but other than that they were on their own and against the clock! A trail alone would be just too easy though, so added on were various other challenges for the teams to complete in order to collect those
all important winning points! The first of these was to complete a list of fun
photographic challenges, testing their creativity and daring in the face of the public! This included re-enacting a
game of Twister, a picture of the whole team playing a musical instrument upside down and finding some
team hats… which aren’t really hats! Big bonus points were up for grabs for the funniest and most ingenious snaps! Finally teams had to complete a
scavenger hunt including items as obscure as a two-day old newspaper, a sea shell and something pre-1950 in order to earn more points!
At the end of the afternoon once all
answer sheets were marked, scavenger hunt items scrutinised and photographs laughed at, a winning team was announced victorious and earned the
bragging rights against their colleagues.
Well done to Roger’s team and a special congratulations on our
first ever 100% score!
Thanks again to all at
Carphone Warehouse for a great afternoon!
