Around the World in 8 Games

Welcome to ‘Around the World in 8 Games’, a fantastic day of fun that will see you and your guests split into teams, rotating in 20-30min intervals around a selection of brilliant team building activities. Each activity is themed by a different country, and vary from sports challenges to mental brainteasers to Bollywood dancing!

There are lots of activities to choose from so whether you want a sporting, challenging or culturally enriching day, this event can be tailored to you.

Canada
Archery
Archery is a brilliant and fun team building activity at which guests may surprise themselves by how well they achieve in, under the guidance of our expert tutors. To give this traditional sport a Canadian edge we can also add Lumberjack shirts, swap traditional targets for moose or any other addition you can think of! (POA)

USA
Baseball Challenge
Your team will have to up the pace to score their points in this frantic game of classic American baseball. Home runs are where the points lie so you and your team will really need to get some power behind those swings if you want to come out victorious!
Bucking Bronco
You are sure to have seen this game before but have you ever dared try? The longer you manage to hold on, the more points your team will accrue.

Austria
Team Ski
A hilarious game of communication where all your team must stand astride one extra large set of skis and navigate to the bottom of the piste. For some extra fun we can even throw in some blindfolds!

Greece
Mythology Challenge
Teams will be put to the test mentally as they complete our hilarious mythological challenge, which involves a series of cryptic and information finding questions, some challenging puzzles and a mini-scavenger hunt. Brains in gear everyone!
The Mini-Olympics
Birthplace of the original games, you and your team will be put through a fast-paced and highly shortened version of your very own Olympics! Challenges can include sumo wrestling suits, 100m sprint, shot-put, relay racing, tug of war and any other talents you can bring to the table. Rhythmic gymnastics anyone?!

France
Wine Tasting
Guaranteed to be a winner with all your guests, and perhaps much needed after all that exercise, you and your team will have the chance to learn some basic wine tasting methods and sample a few on your newly knowledgeable palette in this popular and fun session.

Italy
Football Shootout
Home to football teams such as AC Milan and Lazio, your team could hardly bypass Italy without including our penalty shootout game! Goals mean points so take your aim and have your lap of honour at the ready!
Human Table Football
This hilarious inflatable game has you and your team strapped into a life-sized version of the popular pub game trying to score as many goals as you can in the time given. Competitive streaks are guaranteed to surface in this fantastic and frantically fun event.

Australia
Volleyball
A classic beach game in which your team must spike and dive to earn their points. Australian weather not included but guaranteed summer fun all the same!
Bush-tucker Challenge
Fancy your chances against the native creepy-crawlies of Australia?! To survive, you and your team must safely guide each other through the dangerous lair of a deadly spider and navigate across a snake-infested pit to make it through to the next challenge.

India
Bollywood Dancing
A firm favourite in all our past events, even with the grumpy males in your team, our Bollywood dancing workshop is a hilarious and brilliantly fun challenge that will have all your team dancing away under the guidance of our fantastic experts. Not to be missed!
Name That Spice
Everyone enjoys a good curry now and then but do you think you and your team could identify a spice individually? With a selection of common Indian spices to identify, your team must correctly name as many as possible whilst blindfolded.

Africa
Drumming Workshop
Test your rhythm again in our tribal drumming activity that will have you and your team sounding like professionals by the time our expert has finished teaching you. The team with the best beats will win the most points.
Safari Crossing
Using only safari animal noises to guide each other across, you and your team must take turns to cross our dangerous savannah blindfolded. Communication and a lot of trust required!

UK
Croquet & Lawn Games
A quintessentially English pursuit that is trickier than it looks! You and your team will have to practice some precision to master this challenge, and claim those all important points. Other games include badminton, quoits and lawn bowls to try your luck at!
Blindfold Sheep Herding
Armed with a whistle and staff, can you get all the sheep back in the pen?! Only one problem, these aren’t any ordinary sheep, they are your costumed and blindfolded colleagues! With a code of farm yard noises to help you will have to safely guide everyone back with truly hilarious results.

Operation Spy School
Thrown into the Russian underworld, can you and your team take on their undercover spy missions, breaking into safes, cracking into briefcases and diffusing bombs before your time runs out?!
Moscow State Circus Skills
Hand/eye co-ordination at the ready as you and your team audition for the travelling circus! Choose from diablo, plate spinning, juggling and many more!

New Zealand
The Haka
Laugh out loud fun as you and your colleagues take on the explosive performance of the Haka, learning its meaning and worth to the Maori people along the way.
