I say old chap, it's Pimm's o'Clock! Spend a day relaxing in beautiful surroundings in the heart of the English countryside. This event is ideal for those who require a laid back approach to the day as opposed to a range of fast-paced activities, yet it is still lots of fun!
If you're looking to entertain clients, get different departments interacting or you would simply like a chilled out day for your team, this traditionally English garden party is perfect for keeping everyone entertained without being too exhausting! In teams everyone will get to try their hand at croquet, egg and spoon racing, badminton, garden bowls and a range of giant games including draughts and Jenga.
Croquet
A quintessentially English activity, croquet can be played on
manicured lawns while basking in the sun (hopefully)! This game demands
some skill and can really get individual's competitive spirit going.
Rounders
Two teams of nine players must try and score more rounders than the
other in an innings. The fielding team will try and limit the rounders
scored, and get players out if they can with bowling and fielding.
Lawn Bowls
This is not just for the over seventies! Can you and your team beat
off the competition by getting closest to the jack? Bowls is a
brilliant Summer game that requires patience and skill. Wearing white
clothing is optional.
Garden Games
All the childhood classics, egg and spoon, sack race and wheelbarrow in a head to head fun filled competition.
Giant Chess
Take the traditional ‘thinking persons game, increase the size, speed
it up and add two or three extra people on each side... and you then
have ‘Speed Chess'. This game follows similar rules to the traditional
game, but each player has only 15 seconds to make their move before the
opposition takes their turn. To win, you will need to be a quick
thinker and possess nerves of steel.
Giant Draughts
This is an old English favourite pitting your wits against each
other and using strategic thinking to come out on top. Great for
spurring up healthy competition between the teams.
Giant Connect 4
Everyone remembers playing this as a child, but maybe not on quite
the same scale. This giant version of the popular eighties game will
keep your guests entertained for hours.
Giant Jenga
Incredibly addictive and not as easy as it looks after a couple of glasses of Pimms!
Snakes and Ladders
A giant version of the popular children's game. Several people from
each team can play this at once and all members have to reach the end
to win, therefore it's anyone's game until they've all passed the
finish line.
Twister
A garden party classic will get everyone in a fun mood. A
hilarious game that is guaranteed to help colleagues get to know each
other better!
Also available:
Dominoes, Pick-up-Sticks, Tavern Puzzles
Notes
Why not include a Pimms reception or afternoon tea? A range of
catering options can be arranged from sandwiches and cakes to a hog
roast or barbeque.
