Think you know your Gari from your Wasabi? What about your Soy from your Nori?! Well here’s your chance to prove it, as Out Of The Office bring you and your colleagues the ultimate master-class in sushi making!
Our unique corporate event turns the ancient art of Japanese sushi into a fun and competitive
activity, making it perfect as a conference energiser or stand-alone
event. As well as this, despite common misconception, this increasingly
popular cuisine does not have its traditional roots entirely in raw fish, so it is a fantastically all-inclusive event that everyone can enjoy.
Your event will be led by an inspiring sushi expert who will teach you and your colleagues all you need to know in order to whip up your own culinary delights, and can be as fun or team-building focused as you want.
The Master-Class
Experts At Hand
Your day will start with a fantastic introduction and historical
overview of the art and technique of sushi making itself. Situated in learning kitchens, your group will be led by a fully-trained
sushi expert who will tell you and your group all you need to know,
plus some brilliant and interesting facts you didn’t think you’d need
to, and talk you through some all important demonstrations that you and
your team will be attempting later!
Team Sushi!
You and your colleagues will then be split into teams to try your hand
making sushi yourself. With enough equipment and mats for everyone to
have a go, and our expert on hand to keep you on track, your team are
guaranteed to create some genius cuisine with classic ingredients such
as nori seaweed, tiger prawns and cucumber temaki to get your teeth
into!
The Winners
After everyone has had the chance to create and master their winning
dishes, you and your guests will be able to sit back and delight in
what you have made, whilst our expert judges whose team produced the
most aesthetically pleasing and tastiest treats! The winning team will
then be presented with prizes and medals to celebrate their victory!
