Do you think you and your team have what it takes to build the
biggest and best corporate tower?!
Carefully designed to test the most
relevant business skills in you and your colleagues, Challenge 100 is a
fun and fast paced event that will see you tackle a whole host of mini-challenges, all with the aim of building up enough points to
purchase the materials to build your corporate tower.
Careful
planning and fore-thought is essential if your team are to succeed, as this purposely succinct event also tests your
time management if you’re to complete all the roles required. Strong
leadership and delegation of tasks are strongly encouraged throughout, as the competition sets in to see which team will be
crowned victorious!
The Challenge
Plan Wisely!
With lots of tasks to choose from, which all hold a different amount of points for completion and take varying amounts of skill and time, can you and your team select the right combination to attempt in order to build your capital?
Challenge 100
Your team’s financial success now lies within the completion of their chosen tasks. Challenges include:
Origami – Patience and ability to follow instructions required as you and your team must each make an origami animal that’s recognizable to the demonstration!
Tangrams – A cerebral challenge that requires you and your team to make words out of the tangram shapes; testing your problem solving and leadership.
Marble Run – Using the tubing and marble provided, your team must transport the marble from our start to end point without allowing it to stop or roll backwards. Efficient communication is a must to win the points on this one!
Your Corporate Tower
With your capital now behind you, your team must now come up with a viable new project for their corporate tower – a multi-storey office space, complete with shopping centre, restaurant plaza and multi-million pound sports centre?!
A solid strategy is required if your corporate tower is to win the day, and Ivan the Building Inspector is not an easy man to please! Amongst other regulations, all corporate towers must have their foundations on the supplied project grid and must support an inflated balloon which will be measured as your tower’s highest point. Certain building industry regulations also apply, the purchase of Building Certificate being one of them. Of course, your team could always save their money by skimping on these items, though a hefty fine is enforceable on any team found to be without one!
