For an out of this world event, the National Space Centre is the UK’s premier visitor attraction dedicated to space, offering a unique venue for your team building experience!  Fulfil your childhood dreams of becoming an astronaut or working at mission control, working as a team to complete missions and solve life-threatening emergencies!

The Challenge

Pioneer Package (Half Day)

For crews of 8-14 people, we launch the whole team into space for the whole mission. Our flight directors will take on the necessary roles in Mission Control. Here, problems in space will be more of a direct concern to the astronauts, who will have to come together to solve them.

Sessions start from 10.00am or 1.30pm.

Voyager Package (Half Day)

For groups of between 15-30 people, we split the group into two crews who each take their shift in the Space Station and in Mission Control, switching at half time. Here the main challenge will be communication, especially when there are missions or even life threatening situations to solve!

Apollo Package (Full Day)

For groups of between 15-30 people, here you will complete various pre-mission activities in preparation for your mission!

Why not fulfil your dreams of becoming an astronaut and go on a simulated space mission. Here you take on the roles of mission control and space station crew in two realistically themed environments.

The session combines an intensive workshop in the morning, which sets the scene for the afternoon's mission in the challenger centre. The facilitator will develop the optimum training and development day for your group. Your ideas are then developed and then tested within the space mission scenario, where the space centre teamwork closely with your group to help complete tasks and solve emergencies that arise during the mission.

Finally the day is completed with a de-brief to ensure the main learning points of the day are reinforced.
