This event is a fantastic form of indoor or outdoor entertainment that combines teambuilding and hilarity! We have used a combination of our indoor tasks, ice breakers and outdoor team building games to create an exciting and action packed event with huge teambuilding qualities.
A group will typically be split into several teams and participate in a series of light-hearted fun teambuilding games, team tasks and quizzes. The games come thick and fast - calling for quick thinking, interaction, teamwork and a good sense of humour! The teams have the opportunity to win points along the way which will culminate in a fun presentation
Ice breakers:
Magic Stick:
Each team is given a ‘Magic Stick'. The aim of this exercise is for the team to lower the stick to the ground making sure that all the team members are in contact with the stick at all times. The only thing is the stick is Magic and doesn't want to go down- it wants to go up! Without first class communication it will never work.
Mr Wiggle:
A hilarious exercise! The teams are asked to stand in a circle and hold hands when an hoola hoop is placed around the arm of one of the team members. The whole team then needs to pass through the tube as many times as possible without breaking the chain! A great icebreaker to get people in the spirit.
Games:
Virus
You have to transport this very dangerous radio acctivie material to the safe zone but you have only the very basic equipment to do so. Team work and communication required- you'll definitely need your thinking cap on for this one.
Spaghetti Bridge:
Let's get building! The teams are required to build a suspension bridge with as large a span as possible. The only equipment the teams have to use is spaghetti and Sellotape. A good leadership and delegation exercise which is also great for testing problem solving skills.
Catch Phrase:
This exercise is made up of a mix of fun puzzles, brain teasers and catch phrases - all requiring lateral thinking. Which team can solve each of the puzzles first? A great all rounder testing teamwork to the maximum.
Minefield (large space indoor or out required):
A member of your team will be blindfolded as they try and navigate safely through a deadly minefield. The only guidance they will have is from the other members of the team who will be using a variety of sound signals to guide them. Great fun, great for trust and communication and definitely not as easy as it looks!
Spider's Web:
You have been stranded on a remote island and the only way back is across a snake infested pit. However, you only have the most basic equipment and you can not lose contact with any of your team mates. Can you make it across? Leadership, problem solving and trust is required in abundance.
Snake Pit:
You need to make your way through the web of ropes and string to complete the course and get through to the other side. Sounds easy? Well throw in a few blindfolds and some booby traps and the picture changes! It's up to your team mates to guide you through safely and spare you life and limbs! Spiders included. I great problem solving exercise ideal for communication and understanding.
Blindfold Tents:
A chance to put all that camping experience to the test! Teams will compete against each other to erect a tent. The catch? The only members of the team that can touch the tent are blindfolded! The aim to get the tent erected before nightfall. Without delegation and great teamwork and communication you'll still be there at dawn!
It's a Numbers Game:
A great test of teamwork, communication and speed, this activity requires everyone to use a bit of old fashioned memory power. A series of numbered cards are laid out on the ground and it is your team's task to find the numbers and place them in order. The catch? One person can race out to turn over one card at a time, replacing the card face-down unless it fits into the correct order. Tricky and fun, this will have everyone working together as they try and remember where each numbered card is!
Giant Ski Relay (large space indoor or out required):
5 members of the team on a giant pair of skis navigate their way across a n obstacle course against the clock. It is one for communication and co-ordination but a sense of humor is an absolute must. It is one which will have you falling about laughing....I said left foot forward!!!!
Blind square
The whole team is blindfolded and disorientated by our event manager. They will be told to bend down and retrieve the rope in from of them. They will be told to form a perfect square but the only problem is nobody knows which way they are facing or who is in what position along the room. One to get your team talking ...and laughing! Without delegation, leadership and communication it could go very wrong!
Giant Egg Tower:
Which team can build the highest tower? The tower has to be strong enough to hold a cream egg and can only be made out of paper and Sellotape! Creativity, problem solving and good old fashioned brain power required.
Giant Games:
You will have a chance to win as many points as possible competing against another team in a selection of giant games. It is a first come, first served format where you have to challenge a member of an opposing team. Games include Giant Jenga, Connect 4, dominoes, chess, tavern puzzles, Snakes and Ladders, Giant buzzer, Twister and more. Add some fun and reward to your event.
