The Apprentices
Do you think you and your colleagues have what it takes to beat the world's most belligerent boss?! Based on the highly successful BBC show 'The Apprentice', this topical indoor team building event is a brilliant way to test teamwork in a fun and unique environment.
Our 'Apprentices' event has been specifically designed to test and bring out all the core business attributes in you and your group, including leadership, delegation, commercial awareness and above all, team work!
Throughout the day, you and your team will be set challenging and fun business tasks in which one of our experts will monitor you on your performance and ability to work together as a cohesive unit. Once completed, our Alan Sugar style host will consult his experts and declare one of the teams the winners, who will receive a lavish 15 minute treat to indulge in as the other teams look on! The other teams however are hauled into the boardroom to fight it out in the effort not to hear the immortal phrase:
"You're fired!"
Of course those who are fired won't be sent home early in a black cab with a cameraman to record the tears! Instead you will be sent back in to the next task to try and redeem yourself and win back some all important points!
The Tasks
Gift Of The Gab
Your team is given a list of unusual items with their respective RRP and collective total. As a team you must locate and negotiate the best price possible for all the items without paying the full price for anything. Nothing short of exceptional bargaining tactics will win you this one, as the team with the most items and least money spent will be crowned victorious!
Shopping Channel Showdown
Ever thought the employees at QVC have an easy job? Think again, as you and your colleagues are put under the spotlight to sell, sell, sell! With a selection of items to choose from, your team must keep it together for the whole time slot given, as you smooth talk the whole room in on your item with that flawless sales pitch!
That Makes Scents
You might have the drive and enthusiasm to hard sell but can you demonstrate the care and accuracy needed to conquer the tricky art of perfume making? Your patience and precision will be tested to the max in this challenge as you battle it out to create and brand a new product for the fragrance market.
The Coastal Campaign
With UK holidays on the increase, it's your team's task to get your local seaside town on the map! Together you must create a full advertising campaign for your resort, complete with an eye-catching banner, memorable slogan and a fun and informative leaflet. Whosever idea is the most persuasive and potentially most successful will be king of the sandcastles; the rest face a watery grave in the boardroom!
Party Planners
Do you think you have the creative and organisational skills required to plan the best party in town? With a set budget to work to, you and your team must plan the party of the century from timings, themes, catering and entertainment to table centres and transport. On completion, your team will then have to present your idea to the floor and prove that your party is the place to be!
On The Box
Fancy yourself as the next advertising mogul?! As a team you are given a specification for a new service being launched in the UK which requires a promotional 30 second TV advert, and it is up to you to come up with the script, actors, cameramen and directors. All efforts are shown in a premier airing at the end of the task where the winners can reap their glory!
The Winners' Treats
The winners' treats include champagne and truffles, high tea, cocktails and canapés and so on; all bestowed upon the victors in a lavish and gloating fashion! For an additional cost, we can also include casino rooms, projected horse-racing footage with fun money to place your bets, mini spa treatments etc. Please ask your representative for details (POA).
The overall winners are decided by an assessment of performance in all the tasks given throughout the day. They will receive prizes and medals and the overall glory of being “hired”!
