Lights, Camera, Action!
This fantastically creative team building event ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’ requires you and your team to write, choreograph and film yourselves to produce a short film or film outline either about your organisation or as an advert for a new product. For the budding actors and Oscar winning performances, this is the place to be!
Lights, Camera, Action! uses creativity, humour, time management and presentation skills. Visual thinking and planning allows participants to brainstorm together, thereby developing more ideas and generating consensus within the group and improving delegation and communication skills. Humour and hidden talents are highlighted when the finished films are shown at the end of the session.
Dependant on the package chosen, you and your guests are sent to have an open discussion as to what makes an entertaining and effective short film, trailer or advertisement. You are required to produce a storyboard highlighting the key characters and storyline. Guests will be briefed on the elements required to make their 5 minutes of fame an experience the company will not forget!
The Challenge
On The Box
Given a basic product such as a box of tissues or washing powder you will need to put together a 30 second advertisement and brand for your product. Scripts, props, makeup, costumes, filming and acting will all be down to your individual team.
Trailer
Take all the best bits of your film idea and roll it in to a 30 second trailer to make this season’s hit blockbuster! Action scenes, romantic comedy and cliff hanger endings all make for the perfect trailer. Scripts, props, makeup, costumes, filming and acting will all be down to your individual team.
Feature Film
As a group, guests are given the basic story line of a new movie. With each individual team taking on each scene, they will be amalgamated to produce your company’s very own short feature film with hilarious results! Scripts, props, makeup, costumes, filming and acting will all be down to your individual team.
Props Store
The props store will be opened with a huge variety of high quality costumes, makeup and props. Teams will have to hone their bargaining skills and work within their film budget to get the best materials.

Oscar Ceremony
Post performance, the event culminates in a hugely entertaining awards ceremony complete with best actor and actress, best director, best costume and no doubt someone thanking their Mum!
