Welcome to the Pitstop Challenge – a hugely fun and competitive event that sees you and your group take on each other in teams in a head to head race to the finish line!

The Pitstop Challenge is a fantastic team building experience where time management, negotiation and team work is essential if you hope to win! Your team’s objective is to make your own racing kart using the materials provided. You will need race colours, designs and props to make your design stand out.

Once made, your task is then to race a relay of 6 laps, collecting an inflated balloon on each. The winning team is the first over the finish line!

On Your Marks...
Given your basic kart frame, your team’s task is to give it some team spirit! In order to purchase the kit to make your embellishments however, you will have to earn some money first! Good planning and time management skills will be required for your team to make the maximum amount of capital they can. Tasks include:
Origami – Patience and ability to follow instructions required as you and your team must each make an origami animal that’s recognizable to the demonstration!
Tangrams – A cerebral challenge that requires you and your team to make words out of the tangram shapes; testing your problem solving and leadership.
Marble Run – Using the tubing and marble provided, your team must transport the marble from our start to end point without allowing it to stop or roll backwards. Efficient communication is a must to win the points on this one!

Get Set...
Money in hand, it’s now your team’s task to buy, design and create your team colours! As well as flags, numbers and bumper decorations, you will also have a paper driver’s suit that is to be designed and embellished to reflect the theme of your team. When completed our Chief Marshal will judge each team on their efforts, the results of which will determine their starting position – the best team starting at the front!

Go!
Positions taken... Drivers at the ready... It’s time for the race! With 6 laps to complete and a balloon to collect upon completion of each, there’s all to play for in this fast and highly entertaining finale. Your team must keep tight ranks as they swap their driver’s suit and helmet after each lap to the next driver, whilst all the time adhering to our no foul play policy – any bumps will incur you a 5 second penalty!
The winning team will be the first to cross the line and will celebrate their victory on our podium with bubbly and medals to revel in their glory with!
