Zorbing - Flirtomatic
Though the weather looked threatening to start, there was nothing but sunshine by the time our neon bright group from Flirtomatic arrived to spend the day zorbing and attempting some of our favourite team building games!
Having been told nothing of what they were going to get up to by their organiser Kathleen, the Flirtomatic employees were more than excited at the prospect of being rolled down a human-sized hamster ball and approached the morning with enthusiasm to match their outfits!
As in turn the group paired up to have a go at the harnessed zorb, the braver amongst them dared to take on the water zorb, which sent its riders spinning down the hill unfastened and rather unceremoniously! Alone or in pairs, the result was the same – soggy clients!
Come midday, we all took a well earned break for a local carvery – a first for some among the group! Along with ice cream for dessert, it went down a treat, though we were all glad that the zorbing was before lunch as we were feeling a bit too full to be spinning 360 after!
To complete their day, the group, split into the Stars, Snogs, Hearts and Flowers, took on six of our team building games head to head, including Blindfold Sheep Herding, Catapult Launching, Minefield Crossing, Countdown, DNA and some classic Sports Day Races. The results were tight and there were some attempts at cheating(!) however we had our winners in the end and presented the Stars with their well earned bubbly and medals.
We don’t usually like the team with the CEO in to win, however we think we all agreed that when he turns up in a neon green mankini and tutu skirt he’s well deserving of his victory!
